Yes, my preference as well. OTOH, I'm grateful for any (5k+) data I can get. Eventually, it adds up to something significant, lol.

I am not so much interested in nailing the best play with the highest degree of certainty possible, btw. I learn a lot from comparisons of the weaker plays as well, and they are often dropped off too quickly for my taste. What seems to happen too often is that I end up with one Snowie or GnuBG 46*5 (three-play) rollout and then a bunch of rollouts at various plies of just the top two plays on various generations and plies of XG and I'm left still scratching my head about the variance on the weaker play. Instead of a total of 400*5 or 300*10, I'd rather have something like 150*50.
