Couldn't agree more. I didn't write the forum code though and I don't code in PERL, the language they're written in, so unless someone peeps up on how to do it we're sol.

I always toggle to 'all' when I search for something. As for the $ and @ symbols, that bites. Your example, 51$-21, I understood because I knew what you meant beforehand but a better example might have been 21$-21. When you search for 51$-21 via the forums search feature you get results because within' the body of these messages presumably all characters are included whereas if you use the find function of the web browser or ctrl + f you get no results.

If you try 21$-21 you will see the forums search feature displays no results whereas the browser find function is able to locate these posts.
