Another tricky decision. Bearing off against a deuce-point game is slightly different from bearing off against an ace-point game. When we're clearing the 5pt, 3's can be played from either the 4pt or the 3pt. That means that many of our rolls that clear our 6pt will give us one or even two 3's to play later. There's also the question of which play is more gammonish; that's hard for me to assess. Also 6/off 3/1 leaves us safe against an immediate 66 or 55. Of course there's no guarantee that we won't run out of 3's later so it's a question of whether to pay now or pay later. Not sure but I'll go with paying later.
