and it would be especially pointless because these matches are played between Gnu and Snowie only, so not much conclusions can be drawn about XG and BGB ;)

For a longer benchmark look for Big Bot Shootout. 1000 25-point matches between Gnu, S4, BGB and JF and statistically significant was that JF is worse.. It's a couple of years old, but it took month on up to 3 computers. Michaels benchmark needs a lot less time. BGB runs the 2005 benchmark in roughly half an hour, so the 2010 benchmark will probably take 3 hours (if I have the data ready) so it's the fastest way by far to get a good approximation of the strength.
