Committing to Memory: what about a bg informator?

In Response To: Committing to Memory (RobertFontaine)

After reading Matt Ryder and Robert Fontaine about the prolific field of modern backgammon opening theory, i thought also a little bit about this topic. In my youth I played chess, and I worked also with the sahovsky informator. This work of Opening theory uses no language, only notation and symbols, to get over the barrier of language. Nactation remembered me at first sight at this. For me, as an old dog, there is the problem of learning, like Robert Fontaine. Matt Ryder explained, that Nactation is more than notation, because it shows a piece of action behind.

I think, we can double the effect if we show the move as diagram and the nactation above. So you can link the picture with the picture of nactation in your brain. You can use the place beside each diagram to wrote explanations, like a workbook. By now, I think, a 2ply is enough for an amateur like me.

Here is the link for an example: bg informator

(I tried the advice from Xavier, hope that works.)

Reading book A, I alloyed the ratings with the informator symbols.

!! double whipeout .20- up ! wipeout .10- up (!) blowout .06- up + correct .03- up (+) marginally correct !? barely correct .01 - .02 = tied .0 - .01 ?! barely wrong or very close (-) marginally wrong or close - wrong or mistake (?) blunder ? whopper ?? double whopper

Would this a possibility for an bg informator?

Second. I would create such a thing for myself. Would this of interest for others? I followed the advice from stick, to group the moves. Any other suggestions?

Last. At time, I am working with the compilation of Tomothy Chow (www-math.mit.edu/~tchow/2ndroll_bill.pdf).

Is there an easy way, to get the RO results, to use the rating?. Putting up the diagrams and editing is work enough.
