Post Crawford cube decisions

In Response To: Post Crawford cube decisions (Chuck Bower)

I was being clever at a recent tournament at this score and forgot to double and my oponnent passed when I did cube. I was surprised it was only like a .01 error, the point in waiting I guess is to give your opponent the chance to make a big blunder. Its probably almost impossible for it to not be a blunder to wait with the cube, then in the next position to play on for the gammon right?
