GnuBG does support XGID's

In Response To: Extreme Gammon to GNUbg ID translator (leobueno)

You can paste an XGID right into GnuBG, or from the command line as well. You need to download a newer version of the GnUBG

Besides pasting you can also use the command line to enter it directly as well:

set gnubgid XGID=-AbCCDC-----a--a-a-cbbba--:1:-1:1:62:1:9:0:15:10
