Making the 5 point would leave a catastrophic blot anyway, without improving the prime. White has a single checker back and it's ready to escape. It would be better to send another one back.

An alternative (no hit, no 5 point) but weaker choice would be 13/10 6/5 to unstack both towers while slotting the 5 point.
