There's no arguing that even if you tattooed the legal moves rule on a Hooter's girl's rack and placed her at the entrance to the tournament room that somehow people still wouldn't know the rule was in place or understand it. This shouldn't deter you from using it .. there are tons of other rules that people who attend these tournaments aren't familiar with and they've been in place for years. Also, if somebody doesn't change it the rule will always be an outcast. I'd rather be the first to adopt something I think to be an improvement than the last.

I think it's a terrible rule that's easily fixed to a better degree and I don't understand why we don't do it. It reminds me of clocks which have taken so much work to get to the point they are and it should have been a HUGE next!

Every US director except Chiva I believe uses the rules (more or less in relation to the LMR) you linked to so don't take it personally. I meant to badmouth everyone, not direct it at you alone. If that doesn't make you feel better then I don't know what will!?
