Legal plays??

I would not suggest were legal moves implemented that any random Joe could speak up and call out an illegal move. I would confine it to the participants of the match and anyone working the tournament.
I'm not sure what to think about the fact that you find the rules so easy to follow now when you can allow your opponent's donk offs to stand whereas you would consider cheating it seems if the rules were legal moves. For those of us who routinely play legal moves it isn't an issue. I see an illegal move I say 'illegal', I don't even think about how good or bad it is for me. The same snap reaction I have when I see an illegal roll.
If legal moves were implemented and you failed to notice an illegal play then you failed to notice it. Nobody is going to cry cheat lol.
In poker it is a routine occurrence for a card to fly through the air or tumble a bit sideways and possibly show others at the table. When this happens the dealer asks if anyone saw it. I have never seen an instance of a player saying they didn't see it when I knew they did.
In golf you're responsible for calling penalties on yourself. In tennis there are calls you have to make up to the pro level when there are judges for everything and we get by just fine. All of these 'ethical dilemmas' aren't dilemmas at all. I'm sure there's more and even better examples that exist but it's 8am, you get what you get.
