That doesn't actually seem like a helpful response considering I asked a reasonable question.
Several/many/%unknown of folks here seem to think something bordering on a travesty occurred during one the matches this weekend. They want to avoid repeats by playing some version of the LMR. The version that seems most popular is currently being used by Chiva in his events, where, after the next roll comes tumbling out, it is too late to go back and change the illegal play. In the case in question from Pittsburgh, the player who made the illegal move clearly had no idea that he had done so. If his opponent doesn't speak up, the only thing standing between the travesty being allowed to occur and it being stopped is for SOMEONE TO SPEAK UP! Why then, does it seem so *clear* to so many of you that they should not? As far as I'm concerned, you haven't made your case, and simply stating your opinion, strongly, doesn't do that either.
