I mentioned that the rollout results were close because I tend to notice in the uncommon event that two plays are so diametrically opposed on a thematic basis, yet are equally correct. Just curious as to what a variety of different players prefer OTB and why in these tied instances, and whether or not they are thematically calibrated in one way or another (not pending AtS considerations) so as that the decision would not really seem all that close.

I am indeed aware of the concept of prudently abstaining from a split early on in the case of my opponent unlikely being able to form a prime—their opening 55 (or an early response of one played in opening fashion) being the most salient of those instances. In this position, it appears the jury is still out: the spare on the 8 and the made bar point suggests priming, whereas the inactivated stack on the 6pt indicates else wise.
