We need 13...Superbot needs 2. Conventional wisdom says that we should be steering towards gammonish situations and cubing early if mutual G's are jacked up..ie like -4-2, but not as extreme.

At GG or -4-2 with the cube on 2, our gammon value is 1.00 and our gammon cost obviously zero.

At -12-2 our GV is 0.62 once we cube to 2. To me, this means that our opening plays should be similar to GG since we will often be cubing here once we get a decent advantage and a G threat.

Anyhow, I am unsure whether D or X is best at GG, but think X may be better at this score.

Please explain what I am missing, and yes I am most aware that we really don't want XG anchoring up high here etc.
