I am aware of travel differences in Canada.

But, if you develop the scene on the provincial level, then travel is not an issue..also western coast can also go to ABT San Francisco and East to Chicago,NewYork. (top players).

if one day true national team arrives. you can form 2 east and 2 west canada player so each part of the country is represented (if live is impossible to mix).

Also, each club affiliated to "Canada BG FederatioN" can join into common canadian national elo ranking list that would cover all local and regional tournaments in canada. also canada can closely cooperate with the USBGF

Provincial groups who would be reponsible for bg tourneys in their province can agree with other provinces to form a loose joint organization for marketing, rating and other purposes. my suggestion and ideas...take what u like
