Gammon go, strictly, means a GV of 1 for our side and 0 of the other side. That is not the case here, only after we cube the score becomes GG-ish, but also then our GV remains below 0.5. This means we can shade towards GG plays, but not if the plays would be far behind for money.
So here, I believe 20, 1* is right and not something like 8, 9 (too extreme GG) or 20, 8 (too money-like).
