Man, White has 3 homeboard blots! Can we take advantage of that? First, I like 9/5, making our 5 point. Then either 8/3, or 9/4? (I also looked at 13/8, but that's too ugly.) 9/4 makes a 3 point board, but gives up the 9 point. (It also leaves a blot, but White's not going to hit it with his 3 homeboard blots.) 8/3 slots the next point in line, but leaves us with 2 slots. (Does that matter here?) I'll go with 9/5 9/4, making our homeboard points while we have the opportunity to do so.
