I think you're supposed to hit here. My play is 12, 4*. 10 Checkers in the zone and a good chance of getting a strong, gammonish position if not hit back.

Gs work well at the score (G-price: 0,4/0,53=0,75 = high).

If you just try to run home, I think he can pretty much even out the game and vastly reduce your gammon prospects if he anchors.
