I've read your mythbuster article. Good stuff. In every position, there was some pressure involved, making the 5. I see clearly now, that this position screams not for something different. But to stay in the picture, making the five point here, i hear a constant whimper, that disappears, when i took back the stones. We are making a 5 point in an empty house. We are threatening a threat, threatening a stone which has to be captured first. There is by now no pressure. But I see, putting the blots into contact, that white can't smooth out his position with equity gain on roll 11, 22, 16 as in making the 5. Make sure, that making the 5 isn't only making the 5. Couldn't this protect against the blunders, where it is right to make the five and not just a random play?
