He has a high anchor so priming is not really an option. As usual it is important to fight for an advanced anchor once the opponent has one.

He is frontloaded. By running to the enemy bar point, he will have to eschew doing something constructive with his spares for at least one roll if he wants to hit us.

If not hit, we can build an advanced anchor or run away, both of which will be more valuable than owning our own 5 point. The 5 point is overrated in this type of position.

In short: I run 24/18.
