OTB I almostly instantly rejected 24/18 as it looked like I often am attacked and I wanted to add a builder (for something) 13/8.

After 13/8 I was most unsure whether to play S or $. $ is thematic in that it dupes aces somewhat but S is thematic in trying for an anchor or action when the opp allready has his anchor and I am a clear dog in the game. S is anti-thematic when he has this much of a front loaded position and can attack with quite a few rolls.

I settled on S in hopes that if he did attack, I'd get some early input on his blitzing and blitz cube play. One of my concerns about $ was that he'd just pull down builders from his mid with non pointing/hitting rolls and even though I'd make my 4 prime, I'd soon be locked in on the 24 pt.

Hmmm... maybe if I want action and anchor I should play 24/18?
