1. D/T. Though Yellow has two checkers against a four-point board, Black still has four checkers back and Yellow's front position is good. Yellow rates to enter and anchor without too much difficulty; if Black tries to hit loose and Yellow hits back then Black is even shorter of ammunition. But Black clearly has an advantage and another good roll plus a dance should lead to a drop, so double.
2. Yuck. I'd like to lift the back blot with 23/18 but then there's no 6. The next best 5 looks like 8/3 making a point, and then 8/2 is the ugly 6. Alternatively there's 18/7, which keeps everything in play, but leaves three blots lying around (2's are sort of duplicated but still). I'd play 18/7 but can believe that 8/3 8/2 is better.
3. In Yellow's favor are the race lead, the filled-in bar point, and Black's somewhat awkward front position. In Black's favor is the gap on the 4pt. I think it's D/T.
4. 13/11 13/7* was the first candidate that I saw, but I think the safer 24/22 14/8 is better with the race lead.
5. I think we should hit here to keep Black off balance; we can afford to play boldly and it's hard for Black to make a point with only half a roll. The question is whether to hit with 13/9* or 6/2*. Not sure but I'll go for bar/24 6/2*, unstacking and keeping the midpoint.
6. If it were a straight race, 125 pips to 114 pips would be a take. Yellow's strong front position means if Black hits loose and gets hit back then Yellow is probably winning. This makes me want to take; however, Black does seem to have an awful lot of good rolls so maybe it's a pass. D/T but not sure about the take.
