In a left hand position making 5pt is a 'Next'. In the right hand position I am still making 5pt, but anchoring due to those builders is making much more sense and may be even better. If White's blot on 16pt is moved to let's say his mid, then anchoring has got to be best. As is, White is likely to make a point or safety checker but not both at the same time. In the right hand position do not like 'enter and hit' since in that case all 35 White's entering numbers hit or make a point somewhere.
