The QF got me. Then you start thinking about the play, notice how stiff 8/4 is, note that some entering aces will not even be used for hitting after the fancy play, and then it becomes easy to be smart in retrospect.

I would not spot this possibility OTB, and kudos to those who would and then actually would make the play OTB (you need to have a lot of trust in your judgment).
