Stick, what happens to this analysis if you assume that white auto-recubes to 8, regardless? That is not optimal, but might help to get a handle on recube vig(I think you underestimated recube vig).

Another way of looking at it is using Woolsey assumption - assume that all white wins will be with the cube on 8, and that half of the losses will be with the cube on 8 (this would be consistent with aggressive redoubling of course). Then what happens?

I think this is a pass, BTW.
