1) hit the blot and play 3/2 to minimize shots. If he misses, you have a cube, probably a cash

2) Blue hits the blot 36/36 times, and then has lots of coverage to whack it again if it tries to escape. Looks like double. I think White can take because of the pipcount - enough sequences escape that white can play on, and the gammon chances are small.
