1. 10/3 is too soft. Is making the four point worth 17 shots compared to the two point? I don't think so: 8/2 6/2.
2. 13/8 leaves White too much freedom to develop. I'd hit and unstack with 13/10 6/2*, even though the double hit leaves 8 fewer shots.
3. Black hasn't got the timing to play a backgame. I propose to keep him moving forward. 20/18 10/9 looks good. Making the nine point would contribute to blocking Black, and if the slot is hit then Black hands a lot of timing back to you.
4. A five-point holding game with a 25 pip lead must be a double. The made bar point, extra chequer back and a fragile home board push this toward a pass in my eyes. Double, pass.
5. White can't hope to crack Black's prime even by picking up both blots, so he must ensure he at least HAS a backgame by playing 24/23. 13/11 looks like the other half of the play, but I don't like it much - if White can't pop some spares out he will crunch.
6. Woolsey Rule double. I think I'd pass this.
7. Only 4s do nothing for White. Double. Black can take because of his solid forward structure which White must negotiate to win.
