He's ahead in the race and has built a deep point which is good for attacking but not so good for priming.
We have the makings of a prime and should try to extend that as we will have a timing advantage due to our racing deficit.
7 and 4 for me.
I hate to break the news to Stein, but the rule of thumb regarding not touching the back checkers when the opponent has rolled 55 was well known before Stick even took up the game of backgammon.
