In Response To: three variations (Chuck Bower)

Nobody else has taken the bait yet so I will. Yes, I see a pattern in the variants you proposed. That pattern is making the same play in all positions. This doesn't mean there isn't something to be learned by seeing how other candidate plays wash closer or further away from the best play. If you understand what is happening in the position then you will be able to guess where splitting or running becomes a more viable option.
