Nickels and the old run or attack question

Often it's good to run in this sort of situation, hoping for an efficient cube. But leading 2a5a it's typically hard to ship the cube over when gammons are still possible. Besides, since we're trailing in the race before the roll, our 55 roll doesn't give us that much of a racing lead. Black's second blot is also a factor. I'll try for the undoubled gammon: 8/3(2) 6/1*(2).
