I like the blitz here, especially since gammons are so valuable at this match score. 8/3(2) 6/1(2)*.

Running puts white up by only nine pips and a strong roll by black will equalize things. But if you put him on the bar, he'll dance 25% of the time and then you have a chance to pick up the blot on the 18. The anchor on the golden point means that you can follow up with loose hits and keep the blitz going.

I haven't read anybody else's analysis, but I blitz here. At Crawford or gammon save, I'd have to think about it.
