1. Without the straggler it would be a clear pass. The laggard represents extra shot opportunities and gammon danger. Not enough upside for a take, I think. Estimate 75+15-10.
2. A qiet play likely hands Black a small advantage in a mutual holding game. Make Black's 5 blots into liabilities rather than assets, and mix it up with b/20 8/4*.
3. 11/3* is the least risky play that puts Black on the bar. You want him fanning rather than moving his men forward to avoid those juicy gammons.
4. Takepoint looks like 33% + 1/3 gammon losses. Black has 2 men to contain, but his prime is shakier than White's. Double/Take. Estimate 40-15.
5. Don't die a slow death against a 5-point board. 24/21* 8/7.
6. Looks like Double/Take. Estimate 32+5-10.
7. Black's position is deteriorating. Staying back starts to burn the race lead while WHite improves his board. Pay now with 18/8, even though it runs into 24 shots.
