I'd just play bar/24* 8/7(2) 2/1 here. It doesn't seem to me that giving Yellow extra entering numbers by avoiding 2/1 is worth getting another checker sent back and breaking our five-prime.

Seems like one could learn a lot from variants of this position; e.g., suppose we move Yellow's 1pt blot to the 2pt?
