I have some kind of "disgust" at slotting "between the roses". Such blots seem to really come "under the gun" as they activate otherwise static stripped points. Such slot between the roses gives targets and increases the value of attacking the "wide gap" - 3 and 4 point by the enemy. So every time I split between the roses (3 ans 6 pt. here) I do it with disgust. I thought it MORE GAMMONISH than the NEAR play. It turns out the 3 builder "requirement" for comming under the gun to be dangerous is valid here too. And well, since Nack, Paul and the bots say so, I will succumb and remember the 1.5 percent less gammons against me here if I split major.
