Don't bother! Bulgarian were called "the vulgar". Slav obvioulsy comes from slaves. Yet hundreds of milions have the Bulgarian alphabet as their own. Church priests in many countries sing and read in old Bulgarian.

I guess Bulgarian anchor was coined by Danny Kleinmann to remember his bad beats (in his perception) by a Bulgarian Constantine? in the Cavendish club. Bulgarian anchor has its merits as well as the lead anchor (deuce). Ad well as the iron anchor (the ace) dutifully described by Bob Wachtel.
