1. Black might just have enough containment to eke out a take. Double/Take.

2. Under the gun, I anchor and then hit for tempo: 24/21 2/1*. Making the five can't be far wrong, though.

3. Good things can happen if Black enters awkwardly or has trouble escaping, so I hit loose. 6/3 *12/8 lifts a blot to a point I would like to keep rather then have to break to cover.

4. b/22 8/7 gives me a solid front position, a direct six to escape the last man, and Black's blot remains a liability should he attack me.

5. White has very little going on here. Double and pass.
