1) Double/Drop. 7/36 rolls are immediate market super-losers (they close Black out). If I were Black I would be too scared to take this.

2) Double/Drop. It might be takeable, but Black doesn't seem to me to have a lot of timing. Or maybe I can't play back games.

3) Bar/22 7/3*. Black desperately wants to make the 6pt and this would prevent him to do so. If Black doesn't hit back, Yellow can hit a second checker (and maybe a third one) with 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s and 10s.

4) 23/17* 9/8*. I wouldn't feel comfortable with half of my checkers behind a full prime and I would prefer to avoid being hit back on the 10pt. Maybe because I can't play back games.

5) 13/7 6/2. I can't give up the anchor as I'm slightly behind in the race. I can't give up the mini-prime or the midpoint because it would facilitate Black's escape. I prefer leaving 11 shots, hoping to cover or hit, and in the worst case recirculate the checker.
