I think it's a matter of how far to carry the theme of extra contact. Obviously, I would hang back if White's back checkers were already escaped. Conversely, if we move Opp's anchor back to the 22pt instead of the 20pt, would you still eschew anchoring on the 20pt with 41? If not, then we must acknowledge that there is a crossover point (which it seems you judge to be further back than Opp's 20pt but I judge to be in Opp's outfield).

Sometimes it's a question of, "How much contact is enough?" I don't want to pass up a logical advancement of my back position and increased control of the outfield, however naive-looking, just to satisfy a contact-maximization-when-trailing theme.
