In Response To: Another strange incident from the Cleveland Tourney (Steve Klesker)

I wouldn't go as far as to say Peggy owes him an apology. Pretend it's you for a second and a player you probably have never seen before tries to, in your eyes at the time, absconds with your possible money and trophy after lying to tournament directors! Peggy had some of the facts wrong. It seems Oleg is not a 'relative newcomer' and it was a different person who tracked her down in the hallway but her overall story seems accurate. Nowhere in the story does it say if he sincerely apologized for what occurred either. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but if he didn't he certainly should have.

After all this mess happens from what I believe from the statements of the other Chicago players is a true misunderstanding Oleg bitches about being pressed for time while Peggy is trying to play because he has an early flight? He could have told a TD if he thought she was actually playing too slowly but my hunch is he was pressed for time and want to play speed bg to get the hell out of there is all. If this was the case he should have offered Peggy a more than fair split before the match so he could get out on time or if he decides to play the match stfu and play the match.

Peggy apologize to him for inquiring about the incident and the rules on such a situation in general? I think not.
