Pretend it's you for a second and a player you probably have never seen before tries to, in your eyes at the time, absconds with your possible money and trophy after lying to tournament directors!

I think you need to pay attention more carefully to what I (and others) type. I usually choose my words carefully. I've made the particular parts of my phrasing in bold so you acknowledge them in rebuttal to your comment:

Oleg did not lie to tournament officials in order to "abscond" with prize money or the trophy as some have implied. It was clearly a misunderstanding.

It was only a simple misunderstanding after she posted here and other Chicago players have said that he would never do that. Again, I believe them and I don't know the guy.

As for "Oleg immediately and sincerely ran back in to the tournament room to help fix whatever had gone wrong" if you check Linda Rockwell's post he ran back into the room for a different reason. He thought he had a match to play and was getting penalty points.

Added later by Peggy is this post stating that he never even apologized. That's pretty sad. I feel you also sidestepped the issue of him bitching about the time issue.

Can you still seriously think in any way Peggy owes him an apology?
