Nice problem--the reflex is to make the prime, but I'm almost sure that's wrong for these reasons:

(1) Opponent's stripped outfield is a problem for him as long as you keep the 18 point. After 11/6, many of his hits leave a second blot somewhere. Non-hitting rolls can be awkward, too.

(2) After 11/8 18/16, the three blots are vulnerable to a counterpriming attack. The first player can get into trouble if two blots are hit immediately.

So you must have made the prime (I haven't read your most recent post in this thread yet). Is that a whopper? Possibly!
