Nactation: 6pt convention, point owned

Isn't Z = 23/21 13/8 and z = 24/22 13/8 for the 6-point rule?
Nackgammon: Opening 52
I was waiting for someone to notice. :)
Answer: No. It used to be.
Last year, in order to get the capital letter to rise to the top significantly more often, I sophisticated the 6pt convention in a couple of ways. One way is that the closest point owned overrides the closest checker destination. (It doesn't affect backgammon opening moves, but it affects opening Nackgammon moves due to the second anchor.)
Therefore, for opening 52 in Nackgammon: 24/22 13/8, which keeps the 23pt, gets the capital Z; and 23/21 13/8, which keeps the (even more distant) 24pt, gets the lower case z.
This upgrade to the 6pt convention doesn't have a positive effect in the deepest part of the opponent's board (e.g., NG opening 52Z and 52z are equivalent in strength), but it seems to help everywhere else. For example...
Blue has 63 to play. R = bar/16 (best play) and r = bar/22 21/16 (whopper).
43Z-53H-33E-61P-31H-54H -63 or -31
Alternatively, Blue has 31 to play. U = bar/21 (best play?) and V = bar/22 21/20 (blunder).
With both rolls, the vastly superior play earns hierarchal preference only because in the 6pt convention "point owned" has priority over destination.
