I don't see why split rolls have to make the cut as well. You could easily allow LHS rolling without permission just as Bob mentioned. You'd probably get the most of the benefits without most of the drawbacks (as you say, how often do split-rolls occur by accident anyway).

Regarding MC, I have really wondered about the same - especially years back the stories that the Danish players came home to tell was really outrageous. However I think that it's better now than before. I can tell you for sure that those things would not be allowed nor tolerated here up north.

It's odd, I've stayed for more than half a year at that hotel (MC Grand / Fairmont), but I have never attended the BG WC. I knew a lot of the staff - especially the event people and management at the hotel, from having worked on many executive events there - and have talked a lot with them about BG WC. Got some funny perspectives :-)
