With XGR anchored high hitting will help its timing. There doesnt seem to be big tactical reasons to hit either - The only immediate roll which forces it to break a point is 16, and our rolls play nicely next turn (-33) so even if it stays on the bar we would not volunteer the indirects to clear a point. In fact many rolls get more awkward after hit-dance or enter on the ace. Finally, there's no use for a gammon at dmp so everything argues against the hit. 12/8
