1) 6-1 is the only roll that leaves an immediate shot. Then I see white having around 8 rolls next turn that force a shot (say, he clears the 8) Then black has around 35% to hit it. Black's chances to win by hitting are pretty small, but add them to his chance to win the race and I think you have a take. Looks like a double since most of the time this will turn into a lopsided race. D/T.
