Now 8/5*/1 looks very tempting - there is real value in putting White on bar now, both as it may enter on the 4, or dance - both of which make our bearin easier.

If we don't hit, White still has time to hold both points typically 2 rolls, so we will have to play our next uncomfortable rolls being almost all out of timing. Next roll 64, 54, 44 give 20-shots, 63 and 53 give 13-shots and 43 gives the same 5-shot. That is 162 shots over 1296 games, which is not far from the 5/36 ~ 180/1296 we give now - in the first roll only!
