Lesser known GMs

You asked me to comment on Mikael Jensen.
He has played a bit online and made some money doing so.
He has mainly been active in Danish tournaments, and in particular in the Danish team leagues. I have been fortunate to play many matches with Mikael as well as on the same team as Mikael.
Mikael has never been super streaky - he has always been very consistent, winning a couple of matches and then losing 1, winning a few more matches and then losing 1, etc. Not the way to win big tournaments, but definetely good in the team leagues.
From a sporting point of view, I think Mikael has the biggest achievement of any Danish player ever: He has achieved a score of 19-3 in the elites against the toughest opposition you will find in Denmark. Mikael's stats in the elites are mindboggling, especially noting that he always plays 1 of the strongest players from the opposing team.
While this may not sound terribly impressive to foreigners, let me assure you that having a track record as positive as Mikael's in many, long matches against the best in the world is pretty sick.
Mikael's playing style is a mix between old school and modern. He likes to play very pure and I will venture the bold statement that he is the best in the world when it comes to backgames and primes. It is uncanny how often he comes out on top after a complex game. Botwise, he plays around 3,5 which is much more impressive than it sounds as so many of his games are big backgames and other types of complex positions.
Mikael is also the type of player who adjusts his game to the opponent, and Mikael gets a lot of "free" equity when he induces errors from the opponents.
Mikael is without a shadow of a doubt the player who has taught me the most and if I could pick any 4 players for my team in the elite league, he would be my first pick if I could have any player in the world.
I reckon that Mikael will become more active in the foreseeable future as he is almost through his studies.
