I do remember once (maybe twice) having 41S-11N played against me, but not 51S-11N; well, not since about the mid 80s. (Not 21S-11N either, but it's a meaningless statement because I play 21$ against all opponents.)

OTOH, not too much stock can be placed in my memory of such incidents. Not long ago, I stated that I didn't remember having faced/seen 54S-53P in (something like) 20 or 30 years; then Encyclopedia Petter produced a match in which Jerry Grandell had done just that against me in 1998.

It is interesting to me that David's impression is that more than 50% of Championship players, when faced with 51S-11 (shown below) blunder with N (i.e., 8/7(2) 6/5(2), leaving a direct 6 shot), while Miran's (and my) impression is that it is less than 10%.
