Variant2 [G B17 e31 U39] <5

Variant3 [B G1 e13 U17] <5

I'll refer to the positions by the abbreviations MP, V1, V2 and V3 (Main Position, and Variants 1, 2 and 3). Your 5k rollouts yield these results:

    MP [e U2 B22 G24 s30 V34 Y37] <20*10*5
    V1 [B G22 e30 Z34 s52] <5
    V2 [G B17 e31 U39] <5
    V3 [B G1 e13 U17] <5

Moves that come up, such as e and U, do relatively well in MP because either White is more likely to make her 5pt (V1), or Blue rates to do less with an offense-related move after White makes her 5pt (than he does in V2 or V3 -- where the offense is already better developed).

B does especially well in V1 because Blue might be able to get his three-prime and hit next turn. (In particular, White's 6s are bad or awkward.)

    Nactation Key (alphabetical):

    B = Bar/23 8/7(2)
    b = Bar/23 11/9
    e = Bar/22 6/5
    G = Bar/24 8/7(2) 6/5
    g = Bar/24 11/9 6/5
    s = Bar/22 11/10
    U = Bar/21
    V = Bar/23 Bar/22
    Y = Bar/23 11/10 6/5
    Z = Bar/24 11/10 8/7(2)
