if there are 3 free bots available, all 5+ years old like gnubg, monte carlo & jellyfish lite, that can beat 90% of all b-g players 90% of the time, that for me means that the b-g problem is "solved"...

On this logic, chess has been solved. That simply isn't what most people mean when they say "game X has been solved."
