No, I think I'm having the conversation with the right person, because what I'm questioning is the inference that you're making, not the premise.
If that's true, and pretty much every backgammon debate can be solved merely by saying "show it to the bot," then the game does lose some of its luster from my perspective.
Ah, well, I have no debate with that. What causes the game to lose luster for you personally is a matter of personal taste. That's not what you were arguing before, though.
